World Cosplau Summit Tour Package (USA only)

God always seem to have a weird and cruel way of playing pranks on me.

So, I’ve been toying with the idea of a Japan trip since forever. And might even really be going this end of the year. But my friends and I are still sorting our itineraries and stuffs out now and we can’t seemed to get to a conclusion. To explain our(or rather just mine-_-) dilemma simply, I wanna go Japan to experience all things Otaku, visit Akihabara, go to Maid cafes, butler cafes and attend Cosplay events. My friends want ………………… NONE OF THOSE |||oTL

So I then toyed with the idea of maybe going for a short cosplay oriented one myself. And thought, hey, might as well go to the prestigious World Cosplay Summit at Nagoya right??? I don’t even mind being some sort of ‘saikang’ (do it all, caretaker, nanny) to the WCS Singapore representatives. And so yesterday, I emailed Singapore Cosplay Club to inquire if they provided such services but alas, they do not T_T.

And then just 10minutes ago, while checking my Gmail, I saw something. Look at how Google MOCKED ME!

Argh, I swear those annoying Google bots and Spiders are in conspiracy with someone or something to remind me of my misfortune=_= !!!!

ARGH YES i know they are some intelligent ‘content relevant’ generated ads. But i still feel irked=_=  

Apparently a 7 day package tour to Tokyo and Nagoya. Highlight of the trip , of course, is the joining of the World Cosplay Summit.

StreetFest 2010 (teaser) !!

OMG, I had such a blast at Street Fest today! Thank you to all the cosplayers and photographers who entertained me so well hohohoho!

Had the chance to mingle with so much people, it really makes me feel like the spirit of ‘cosplay’ is still around >//// <

Worldwide Cosplayers Photo journey: 1st Receiver!!!

Thank you to all those who expressed interest in the project!! With the help of the randomising program, I finally selected the first receiver!!!!!

Asakura Haruto, please email me your mailing address and other details ^_^ Go brainstorm on how you wanna decorate the scarf naos!!!!

For the rest of you who wants to be the next participant! I highly suggest you leave a comment below, stating why you are interested, how you intend to decorate the scarf, what you would want to send out as a souvenir and where (country/state) you are from. Of course, don’t forget to leave some form of contact (email, websites, blogs etc?) so that Asakura Haruto can decide if she wanna send it to anyone you guys ^_^!!!!

Random Cosplay Tips #6: Pin to the rescue… again !

I really shouldn’t be sharing such a …lazy bad habit. But I was doing the laundry just now and spotted something on my Haruhi skirt. So I whipped out my camera and decided to blog about this erm…. despicable trick of mine =X

This is a trick I’ve been using for TOO LONG and TOO MUCH. But it does saves a lot of time when you’re rushing costumes. 

Basically, it’s using our trusty safety pins in place of the ‘Bar’ for any hook and bar fasteners on your costumes. The key difference here, is pining your safety pin from the INSIDE of the skirt so that only a portion of the pin appears for you to hook on. And you don’t get that ugly “I can see a safety pin” effect/reaction from people.

Worldwide Cosplayer Project Blogloc!

Wheee I just added a blogloc (Blog location) gadget onto the side bar xD This little gadget here shall help us keep up to date with the parcel’s future locations! So exciting yeah XD???

Which is also why, every receiver of the parcel MUST email me at Elpheal (a) Gmail.com whenever they receive the parcel so I can update the blogloc and keep everyone in the loop !

I’m prolly going to do a live stream videoing of myself picking up the next receiver with my randomising program xD That would so heighten the fun and anticipation XD Hahahah I’m sinking hopelessly deep into this project 8D But I don’t knowwwwwww, what do you guys think?

I’m also intending to film a Vlog of myself putting the scarf and souvenirs into the envelope, sealing it and then posting the article at the Post Office hahha! I think subsequent receivers(of the article) can also do the same and then post a response video to mine XD How fun HAHHA!!!!Let me know what you guys think okay???

Also, I know you can zoom into the google map and see my precise location. but erm, obviously I don’t live in Orchard (for those of you who do not know, Orchard is like one of the most EXPENSIVE piece of land to live on in SG). I deliberately set the location there for privacy purpose.
And the same will go for the rest of the participators. I will only put their location on a random or iconic place in their country or state. Privacy ;)


EDIT: HAHHAHAHHA I Changed the location to The Istana. Since I’m cheating, might as well go all the way HAHAHAHAHHA!!!!. go read up where and what that place is if you have no idea XD
